These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, and online services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Professional Skateboarding League LLC ("PSL", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
The Service includes, without limitation:
- PSL public websites, league information, schedules, stats, and standings
- PSL Fantasy — free fantasy sports games for skateboarding
- Account, league, and team management tools for PSL participants
- Operational and administrative tools made available to PSL staff, team owners, and contractors
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability to you.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by transmitting malware, spam, or excessive automated requests
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users without their consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service except as permitted by law
5. Fantasy Games
PSL Fantasy is offered free of charge for entertainment purposes. No purchase is necessary to participate, and no real-money wagering is offered through the Service. Prizes, if any, are described in the applicable game rules and are subject to eligibility requirements stated there. We reserve the right to adjust scoring, correct errors, and disqualify entries that violate game rules.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as display names, photos, and league names). By submitting content, you grant PSL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Service.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate any law or the rights of any third party. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including PSL names, logos, trademarks, video, photography, statistics, and software — are owned by PSL or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites and services (including cloud hosting, analytics, payment, and accounting providers). PSL is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PSL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PSL AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT WILL PSL'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PSL from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at info@pslskateboarding.com. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6–11 and 13–14) will survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
